Practical information

The summer school will take place at l'institut des Etudes Scientifiques (IES) in Cargèse, Corsica (France). The main amphitheater is equipped with air conditioning and is ideally located by the sea, just a short distance from a beautiful beach. For more information, please visit the IES website.

All participants will be accommodated in shared double rooms in the conference center or in apartments in the village of Cargèse (20 minutes walk). The Conference center housing facilities include 30 double rooms, including three rooms fully accessible for people with reduced mobility. Apartments and the rooms at the conference center are equipped with shared kitchens. Housing will be arranged by the conference center staff, who will do their best to fulfill your preferences. Lunches are included and will feature a buffet of locally sourced products, with a vegetarian option available. Evening meals are not included. The village of Cargèse offers numerous restaurants, reasonably priced and with vegetarian options.

Transfer to and from Cargèse

Attendees should be at the Institut d'Études Scientifiques de Cargèse on Tuesday, July 21^st. The simplest way to get there is to take the shuttle, which will pick up participants from Ajaccio Airport on July 20^th in the afternoon (exact time to be confirmed depending on participants’ flight arrival). At the end of the program, a shuttle will take the participants from Cargèse to Ajaccio Airport on August 1^st. Detailed information will be communicated later.
